<p>Let&#8217;s try this again. I wasn&#8217;t able to do a lot of riding last year for health reasons. My hope is that 2009 will go better in that respect than did 2008.</p>
<p>It was unseasonably warm for February today so I was prompted to pull Straddle out of the garage to stretch her forks. She wears her &#8220;crap, I dropped it again&#8221; scratches like a badges of honor&#8230; only less full of honor. Plastic is expensive<a href="http://www.gbcidaho.com" target="_self">.</a></p>

<p>
There&#8217;s still snow on the ground but I&#8217;ve started sorting through my gear for the up-coming riding season. Despite a terrible headache today (I have no idea why), the bright sunshine (ouch! my eyes!) inspired me to do inventory. </p>
<p>I&#8217;ve also replaced my eight-year-old (and crash tested) Aerostich Darien pants with a pair of AD1s from the same company. They&#8217;ll need tailoring of course because I&#8217;m vertically challenged. Nothing new there.</p>
