TYD2W Day
TT's employer did a very sensible thing when it remembered to observe International Take Your Dog to Work Day. Too often dogs (especially small dogs) are told that they cannot take part in the working world simply because they are dogs. This program encourages dogs to see firsthand that they can find their potential behind a desk instead of simply lazing around at home on a blanket dreaming of biscuits as dogs have traditionally been forced to do.
Hunter is seen here helping TT work out some vital strategy for creating synergistic relational marketing outreach in a environment of increasingly stratified informational modeling. This opportunity represents an enormous change for Hunter; normally at this time of day Hunter would be sniffing Reiner’s butt.
Road Trip
TT and Allen went to Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love and the birthplace of the United States Constitution and that other government we had after independence. TT went to attend a conference being held there and Allen went to goof off.
Philadelphia is an old city (at least by US standards) and there are a lot of people living there (at least from our Oregon perspective). Combined with the heat and high humidity, the grime and sheer press of population was sometimes overwhelming. Despite all of that, we had a wonderful time looking at stuff and things. We saw the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. We saw the US Mint. We survived cheese steak.
