Eyes on TT
The big news for this month is TT's new vision. She set her sights on something she has been overlooking for many years now!
Thanks to advances in laser and computer technology, she no longer has to wear glasses on a daily basis. Sure, we could have performed her LASIK surgery at home with a laser pointer, but the professionals have really up-to-date reading material in their waiting rooms.
The procedure itself took only a few minutes but the preparation took weeks. Although she can already see quite well, the healing process will take months to complete.
We want to thank our family, loved ones (who aren't also family) and co-workers (who aren't also loved ones) for their thoughts, prayers, cards, flowers and phone calls.
Have you seen the thing?
Reiner and Hunter have been looking for the thing recently. The thing is elusive; it does not disclose its location easily and, despite long searches, it has continued to evade detection. This is no reason to stop looking for the thing. The thing will be found no matter how many times Reiner and Hunter have to sniff around the pantry, under the refrigerator, next to the heat register, around the side of the house, or near the deck. Perhaps around, next to, or on top of that tree over there.
Make no mistake about it: the thing will be found. Either that, or the thing will not be found and the dogs will become obsessed with something else for a few days. But, still, the thing is what is on their minds right now.
