2002 Rose City Grand Tour
Each year for the past 26 years the Rose City Motorcycle Club has held its Grand Tour. This year the event runs from April 1 through September 31 and, during that time, participants will attempt to visit at least 10 of the 19 destinations listed in the tour book. Riders collect official Grand Tour stamps from a local business or organizations that have agreed to provide them. At the end of the summer, with all the tour books turned in, the RCMC draws names for small prizes. The more stamps a rider collects, the more chances the rider has to win a prize. I'm not a member of RCMC but I can (and do) appreciate the efforts of so many people behinds the scenes. The club's web page (http://home.teleport.com/~rosecmc) contains additional information.
