Riley, OregonJune 4, 2004 ![]()
If you blink you will miss Riley. Riley sits at the intersection of US Highways 395 and 20 in the easern part of our fair state. This stop was not a diner or cafe. It was the Riley (Deli) Store and Archery; which I guess technically makes it an eatery but with the archery angle, it's also possible to shoot your mouth off there. "Gals, meet your beau and arrow at the archery shop!" I was dead tired by the time I reached Riley. Mrs. Martin, one of the proprieters, took pitty on me and rented one of their spare rooms. It's probably a big secret that they have spare rooms and I'm spoiling it here but, anyway, they were quite nice to me and for that I am grateful. Thanks Dale and Pat! The room had a bed in it but I was so tired, I fell asleep in a recliner chair. 600 miles and lots of excitement in one day will do that to a person. I am not a Jedi yet. Related Links
