Travel review for April 2

Route and Map

Departed Beaverton west along US-26. Joined SR-6 enroute to Alice's Country House and then continued on into Tillamook.

North on US-101 to Geribaldi, north on SR-52 to Necanicum. (Hwy 52 is a mind scramble. This was the first time I had been able to ride it on a dry day. 20 MPH curves abound.

West on US-26 to Seaside and then north again on US-101 through Astoria, across the Columbia River and into Washington. I had intended to take SR-103 through Long Beach but I turned early and ended up on a much prettier road along the east side of the peninsula.

Arrived at the Pilot House Restaurant in Ocean Park.

Departed south along SR-103, back across the Columbia River into Astoria and east on SR-30 through Clatskanie and south into Warren and the Warren Country Inn.

Deptarted south on SR-30 and over the West Hills of Portland to Beaverton. Home.
