Room with a ViewHere's a picture taken out of my hotel window. Neat, eh?  I rode 400+ miles (some of it leaning about 10 degrees to the left to compensate for cross winds, holding my tank bag in place with my knee) so I'm not in the mood to yammer on about what I saw today.  Nor do I have a lot of pictures.  Deal.

Remember Wayne and Garth (from the critically acclaimed film Wayne's World) when they used a cheesy blue screen matte effect to simulate visiting various places?  Remember what they did to Delaware?  "Look... we're in Delaware."  Well, I can't think of a single thing to say about Sacramento other than, "Look... I'm in Sacramento."  What do you mean you "haven't seen Wayne's World?"  Don't they teach anything in school anymore?!?   Get thee down to the local video rental store now.  This material is clearly marked in the syllabus as required background viewing.

Sacramento?  Why Sacramento?  The rich history; being near the pulse-beat of a working State legislative body, the nerve center, the power brokers, the surplus, the budget deadlock, the unpaid public employees -- all reasons why I might be here.
